Available ECO4 Grants
Government-backed ECO4 funding is available to help UK households improve energy efficiency and reduce energy bills.
Below are the types of grants currently available through the ECO4 scheme.
Embedded Files
Under ECO4, households eligible may get free or subsidised improvements including:
Loft insulation
Cavity-wall insulation
Underfloor or floor insulation (in some cases)
First time central heating (FTCH)
Heating system upgrades — e.g. replacing inefficient boilers with modern efficient boilers or installing new central heating/heating systems (including green heating like heat pumps)
Heating controls and smart heating controls (thermostats, controls) sometimes included as part of heating upgrades.
Renewable energy/green-energy options in some cases — e.g. heat pumps, and sometimes solar PV panels (depending on property and heating type)
(Sometimes) other energy-efficiency or home-improvement measures depending on property condition: draught-proofing, ventilation, double/triple glazing or doors/windows upgrades — though availability depends on property and installer.
